After our trip to Texas, we flew in to Salt Lake City to attend Tanner's cousin Brooklyn's baby blessing. Brooklyn's blessing gown was a miniature version of her mom's wedding dress - she looked like a little princess.
Matt's sister Annie and her husband Regan had their adorable baby girl, Brooklyn, only 8 days before Tanner was born - so we were all very excited to have the two of them meet. There were so many cute pictures of their time together that I decided to put together a collage:
Great Grandpa and Grandma Ralph and Anne Sharp
Great Grandma Ruth Tennant
Tanner also met his Great Grandpa and Grandma Chamberlain - and can't wait to meet his Great Grandma Dorothy Persons (aka Momma Dot).
Other Utah activities included celebrating my Mom's birthday - she's such a young, beautiful, loving Mom and grandmother and we had so much fun hanging out with her and taking pictures. I can't believe that we were able to get a good picture of the four of us with all the craziness that went on behind the scenes . . .

While in Utah, Matt and I got to visit Butterfield Canyon - the place that Matt proposed to me over 4 years ago! I love Matt so much and am so grateful to have him in my life. He is such a wonderful husband and father. The past 4 years together have been filled with so much fun and adventure and I can't wait to see what the next 4 years hold in store for us.

The Jeep got us safely to St. George where we spent a couple of days with Matt's brother, Brandon, and his wife Lindsay. Somehow, we convinced Brandon to let us take his car so that he could drive the CJ7 to California when he came to visit us at the end of the week . . . sorry you two for all the hassle that came with that decision.
The Jeep ended up breaking down about 30 miles south of Vegas, and after a few hours of searching for someone with a tool box, Brandon and Lindsay were able to get the CJ7 running again and make it to California. Thanks you two! Sorry for all the trouble!

As for me, Matt, and Tanner, we had our own little adventure on the trip from St. George to California - though ours was much more fun that Brandon and Lindsay's
