HAPPY EASTER!!

A long time ago, a very fun-loving Mother Easter Bunny started a lasting Easter tradition in the Chamberlain home:

Every year on Easter morning the four Chamberlain children would wake to find a trail of their favorite candy that wound through the house - over, under, and around couches, tables, and chairs - leading them to their own hidden Easter Basket surprise.

Well, the Easter Bunny found our little family this year and reintroduced this tradition for Tanner's very first Easter.

The Easter Bunny left trails for each one of us. As you can see, the trails all merge in the end . . . this is probably because our apartment has very limited hiding places - and because the Easter Bunny had only enough candy and plasticy green grass for one basket . . .

The Easter Bunny was even nice enough to get up extra early to get Tanner all ready for church and to prop him up and give him a bottle.

I don't think the Easter Bunny knew quite what to do with this sleeping beauty . . .

Once everyone was up and ready, Dad helped Tanner navigate his jelly bean trail . . .

And discover his hidden Easter Basket! (full of candy he couldn't even eat. Poor little guy!)

I'm not really sure . . . but I think Tanner may have caught a glimpse of the Easter Bunny sneaking away as we took our family photo . . .

WE HOPE EVERONE HAD A VERY HAPPY EASTER!

Red vs. Blue

Our friends, Scott and Shellie, and Tanner's older-woman crush, Avery, invited us to the Dodgers/Angels preseason game.
As you can see, there was a slight discrepancy over which team to support.
Our friends are huge Angels fans, and well, we just bleed blue . . .

We had a ton of fun.

And yes, blue conquered the night.

Hello Father,

I just wanted you to know how bored I have been today . . .

I am sick of all this being a baby stuff.

And Mom can't seem to give me enough stimulation to keep me entertained . . .

I miss you and can't wait until you come home.

SERiously!! I CAn't wAIt!!! :)
