Happy Valentines Day Festivities

We had a really great Valentines Day this year.
The day began with thoughtful gestures of our love and appreciation for one another . . .

And ended with a rockin' dance party at our church. Tanner is already winning over women's hearts . . . the ladies were lining up to dance with my handsome little man.

WHAT IS SO FUNNY?!

Tanner has been giggling for a while now, but only in short little outbursts, and it's usually a little in between laughter and crying-I think the whole laughing thing was a bit confusing to him for a while . . . Well, the other day, I was holding him in front of the mirror and letting him play with one of my bracelets. The bracelet slipped out of his hand and clattered onto the countertop - and Tanner busted up laughing. The next time he let the bracelet drop, it fell in the sink and he went into a fit of laughter - which made me start laughing, and the harder I laughed, the more Tanner laughed. It was hilarious. Tanner is now a laughing champion - and I am addicted to making him giggle.

A SUPER WEEKEND

We had a lot of fun this weekend.

Tanner tried out the swimming pool for the first time.

(Just an FYI to all you parents out there-this is the latest baby swimming fashion: a backward onesie that is a few sizes too small-tight enough to show off that baby bod. This fabulously trendy style allows babies everywhere to showcase their pinchable potbellies and deliciouly adorable croissant-roll legs. Tanner is the perfect model for this stylin' fashion trend.)

We celebrated the Chinese New Year

and we got to play Superbowl Bingo, see Bruce Springsteen do a wild crotch slide into a camera, and watch $3 million dollar commercials while sporting these cool, blue 3D glasses
