We had a great Thanksgiving this year. Since being married, we've always been away from our families on Thanksgiving and have had the opportunity of spending the day in the company of our wonderful friends. This year was no different.
We started off the festivities by meeting up with our good friends: Scott, Shellie, and baby Avery. We all had dinner together downtown then caravanned to Orange County to spend Thanksgiving Eve at Shellie's parents (our official adopted California Family). 
In the morning, Matt and Scott and a bunch of guys battled the rainy weather to play in the annual Turkey Bowl. The boys got all muddy and had a blast. 
After the Turkey Bowl, we headed back to LA to have dinner with friends from our ward. Jeff and Jessica were kind enough to host nearly 20 people in their apartment. Their loft is pretty much one giant great room. It was fantastic! We were able to fit everyone in, no problem - and everyone put together a fabulous Thanksgiving spread. Jessica and her family all worked hard to host the large group and it turned out great. We're so grateful to have such a wonderful ward family and we loved spending Thanksgiving with such a great group of people.
