The day before New Years-I guess that would be New Years Eve Day-we went skiing at the Canyons Resort in Park City. Matt and I hadn't been skiing for years and years, so we were both super excited to go.

- the Hamiltons for the great idea and for joining us on the slopes!
- My Dad for showing us how to ski like the pros
- My sister Amber for letting me borrow all her snow gear
- and My little sister Elise, and Ben, for showing us all up with their snowboarding moves
That night for New Years Eve, Matt, my sister Amber, and my cousin Mary, and I all went downtown for First Night. We pretty much paid $40 to stand around freezing to death, waiting for the countdown. We actually did have fun though, just hanging out all together.

I found your blog (through Amy's) and just wanted to say hi and congratulations on your adorable son. I'm glad you are enjoying Southern Cal and that you and Matt survived law school just fine. Michael and I are up in Washington near Seattle, and we're expecting twin girls in the next month or two. Crazy isn't it? Well, Happy belated New Year.
